MISSION STATEMENT OF THE FRIENDS OF THE MACDONELL-WILLIAMSON HOUSE INC.
To preserve and develop the Macdonell-Williamson House, a National Historic Site, as a cultural and historic center, and to bring recognition to the founding families—the Macdonells and the Williamsons.
Hours: The Macdonell-Williamson House is open from: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, on Saturday and Sunday during July and August.
Admission: $3 – Members and Children Free* (*12 and under when accompanied by an adult).
Exhibits, Crafts, Arts, Speakers, Authors, Self-Guided House Tours.
General Store: Souvenirs, “Best of the Region” products, home baking, jams, local crafts, books, collectibles, antiques, and more.
Heritage Tea Room: English tea with homemade scone, English cream & jam- $5. Scone/tea/lemonade/water- $1 ea.
New: Venue for small receptions! Such as: weddings, conferences, meetings, presentations and more! Could be held in the House or under a 20’x40’ tent, (accessible to people with reduced mobility).
